I joined the board so that I could be more involved with the black students on campus as well as create a difference for those who choose to come in the future. I also joined because I feel like it is the perfect opportunity to work within a team of amazing individuals. I want to help build a strong foundation for the black students at Cal Poly so that future generations can build from what we already have started.
